The "Diablico Sucio" is a representation of one of the nine dances of Corpus Christi and is celebrated in various parts of the capital.

The Dance of the Dirty Devil can be considered one of the oldest traditions or representations in celebrations.

Where does its name come from? The reason they are called "Dirty" is because in ancient times the costumes for this outfit were made from dirty manta fabric and the red stripes were painted with achiote and the black ones with charcoal, so it was something superficial and did not stick enough, since when the fabric got wet with the dancer's sweat, it would run and they would end up all dirty, hence its name.

With their traditional bells and castanets they make an echo, as well as the inflated leather bladders that are very feared by some children and even adults, because they use them to hit people on the thighs or arms.

A "Dirty Devil" costume is made from red fabric, onto which black stripes are sewn, so it takes time.
