We are a Panamanian brand focused on the creation of nostalgic products, with exclusive designs inspired by the local charm of Panama.
We are obsessed with local – “Zero Km”, production, because we believe it is necessary to support a circular economy that strengthens the country, because in Panama there is a lot of talent and a strong “workforce”.
Kocobelo designs, prints, makes and produces each piece in an artisanal locally way, carefully selecting its raw materials and supplies in Panama.
We have adapted our art into various commercial and functional products, which are marketed locally.
Our designs are created by Serena Rinaudo, founding artist of the Kocobelo brand in 2016, under the company: BANABANA S.A..
The artist of Italian origin, brings with her a great cultural background focused on the arts, such as: Art Critic, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Art, among many other degrees obtained in various Italian Universities, as well as Spanish.
In 2023, the award for “Best Foreign Artisan” is awarded, on the 50th anniversary of the International Flower and Coffee Fair Contest of Boquete.
In 2021, winner of Crea in Panama, as the country's “Creative Entrepreneurship” with the support, among others, of the Ministry of Culture and the City of Knowledge Foundation. Also in 2021, winners of the E-Commerce Capacity Building in Central America contest, with the support of Fondo Sica.

Acerca de Kocobelo,
Somos una marca panameña enfocada en la creación de productos nostálgicos, con diseños exclusivos inspirados en el encanto local de Panamá.
Estamos obsesionados con la producción local - “Km Cero”, porque creemos necesario apoyar una economía circular que fortalezca a el país, por que en Panamá hay mucho talento y una fuerte “mano de obra”.
Kocobelo diseña, imprime, confecciona y produce cada pieza de forma artesanal localmente, seleccionando cuidadosamente sus insumos en Panamá.
Nuestro arte lo hemos adaptado en diversos productos comerciales y funcionales, que son comercializados localmente.
Nuestros diseños son creados por Serena Rinaudo, artista fundadora de la marca Kocobelo en el año 2016, bajo la empresa BANABANA S.A..
La artista de origen italiano, trae consigo un gran bagaje cultural enfocado en las artes, como: Crítica de arte, Lic. En Bellas Artes, Maestra de arte, entre otros tantos títulos obtenidos en diversas Universidades italianas, así como españolas.
En el 2023, se otorga el premio como “Mejor Artesana Extranjera”, en el 50 aniversario del Certamen internacional de la Feria de las Flores y del Café de Boquete.
En el 2021, ganador de Crea en Panamá, como “Emprendimiento Creativo” del país con el apoyo entre otros del Ministerio de Cultura y Fundación Ciudad del Saber. El mismo 2021, ganadores del concurso Desarrollo de Capacidades en Comercio Electrónico en Centroamérica, con el apoyo de Fondo Sica.
