PANAMA CITY.- With structures, concrete and a lot of height, Panama City has become the skyscraper capital of Latin America. Nestled in an imposing setting, the capital of the Isthmus has raised its sights and seeks to reach higher despite the difficulties in synchronizing the desire for growth with the capacity of the country's public services. Among its "colossi" there is even the footprint of someone who could possibly become the President of the United States.
Currently, a large number of buildings that are over 200 m high are planned, approved or under construction, and some that reach 300 m will even be included in the top 200 tallest skyscrapers in the world. For this reason, Panama is now considered the "city of skyscrapers" in Latin America. Of the 15 tallest buildings in Latin America, 12 are located in Panama.
